Day and Nightcare Assistance offer a bathing and showering service that will take place in your own home.
Day and Nightcare Assistance offer:
- Assistance with transferring an individual into a bath or shower chair, using specialist equipment if necessary.
- Help with dressing and other grooming needs such as hair combing and applying prescribed lotion.
- Giving verbal prompts to complete tasks.
Our bathing service;
- Aims to meet personal care needs with dignity and respect.
- Allows individuals to remain living in their own homes.
- Encourage individuals to engage actively in self-care activities
- Ensure modesty and dignity are maintained during bathing or showering
Each bathing or showering visit will be up to 1 hour in duration, and will be fully assessed for any risks before being provided
The service is offered mid-morning and mid-afternoon from Monday – Friday
